As we celebrate our Parish Feast Day, I give thanks to God for you all. I am also grateful for the many parishioners and clergy who have preceded us. They helped keep the faith in this community alive. They contributed in their own ways to the building up and continued growth of this wonderful community. The torch of faith has been passed to us now. We are called to continue to keep the faith alive in our community so that one day, after full and faithful lives, we may pass the torch of faith to those who will come after us.
After much prayers, discernment, and consultation with various parish groups, I have decided to add the following prayers and Confession opportunities to help us keep the faith alive effective September 16, 2024:
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Benedictions on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 11:00AM before daily Mass
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Benedictions in Spanish on Fridays at 6:30PM.
Confessions on Sundays 30 minutes before the 10:00AM Mass (in addition to the 4PM Saturday’s Confessions).
Anointing of the Sick during the 12:10PM daily Mass every First Friday of the Month.
Solemn Vespers (Evening Prayer) every last Sunday of the month at 5:00PM In addition to the above, there will also be opportunities for service (works of mercy) and other parish community events.
These will be announced at the beginning of each month in the Pastor’s monthly update. May Saint Cyprian continue to intercede for each one of us as we journey together in faith!
